Hi, I am Dr. Katherine Krieg, and I’m a pediatrician at Children’s Oasis Pediatrics. Let me tell you a little bit about myself.

I grew up in Ohio, and I got both my degrees at Ohio State University. I then came out to Arizona to do my residency, and I did my residency at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. I then went into private practice, and Dr. Novy and I together started Children’s Oasis Pediatrics in 2002.

Personally, I am married and I have two grown children. My passion is teaching healthy lifestyles and preventive medicine.

My favorite thing about pediatrics is the long-term relationship that I develop with my patients and their families. It is so much fun to watch them grow up, and I love it when they share stories and their successes and jokes and their music preferences and pictures of them in their prom dresses. I really enjoy that long-term relationship. I enjoy being outside. I like hiking, biking, camping, paddle paddleboarding.

I really like to be outside. If I can’t be outside, you’ll find me quilting and reading.
